Safe Church Policy

Purpose:  Christ Episcopal Church has established a Safe Church Policy for the protection, safety, and well-being of children and adults involved in the life and ministries of this church.  It is also established for the purpose of ensuring that our baptismal vow "to respect the dignity of every human being" is honored and practiced by every member of this parish as we exercise our common life in Jesus Christ.  Our intention with this policy is that Christ Church shall be a safe haven and sanctuary for all who come to us seeking the comfort and care of God, the truth of the gospel, and the faith we proclaim in Christ Jesus. 

Guidelines:  Policies are established and practiced in relation to the safety of the building, hiring of employees, overseeing volunteers, and training of responsible parties.  Documents are outlined regarding definitions of misconduct and appropriate response and reporting of such misconduct.  To view the complete document of our Safe Church Policy click on the link.
