Regional Outreach

St. James Episcopal Church, Hartford, Food Bank:  Sunday school children are encouraged to bring in items for the Food Wagon each week.  Non-perishable donations can also be deposited in the collection box at the back of the sanctuary.

Cathedral Soup Kitchen:  The Manna Community Meals Program provides hot meals to the needy at the Cathedral in Hartford.  Volunteers help prepare and serve meals on a regular basis. 

Habitat for Humanity:  Volunteers do carpentry work in the Hartford area.  A team of ten to twelve is supplied with tools, materials, and instructions. 

Covenant to Care:  We are affiliated with local social workers through this program.  Gift baskets for individual children and families are donated at Easter, Christmas, the start of school, and as specific needs arise throughout the year.
