International Outreach

Five Talents International:  Christ Church has committed to donating money to this enterprise.  During the summer of 2005, two of our parishioners, Linda Lane-Reticker and Peter McClintock, went to Uganda and Rwanda on a mission trip through this orgainzation. 

Five Talents is a micro-enterprise initiative serving the Anglican Communion.  Money is loaned to poor business owners in developing countries to help small businesses grow, create new jobs, and decrease poverty.  Borrowers are held accountable to pay back loaned monies so that this money can be reinvested to other needy small business owners.  Five Talents also facilitates and attracts training and other resources needed to develop and strengthen programs already in place.  For more information, visit their website at www.fivetalents.org.
