Christian Education - The Adult Hour

Adult Education   Adults are welcome to come together for a variety of learing opportunities throught the week.  On Sundays from 9:00 to 9:45 am all adults are encouraged to take part in a selected eduational experience.  Classes are led by the Rector, staff, or parishoners.  Topics have included a focus on our life as Episcopalians ("The Prayers We Pray"), a video series on the historical relevance of the Bible ("That the World May Know"), and pertinent Christian books (The Purpose-Driven Life, Celebration of Discipline).  Specific books of the Bible have also been studied.  This past fall the program was titled "From Milk to Meat" and involved a study of the book Christian Basics - An Invitation to Discipleship by John Stott.  The current class is "Understanding the Bible".  Please come and join us  as we learn and grow closer to God, all the while enjoying lively discussion in a loving, caring community.  Currently we are studying "What Christ Thinks of the Church" which provides a study of the Book of Revelation.

We also have Special Programs throughout the year involving small group study.  Past programs have included ALPHA, The Purpose Driven Life, and The Screwtape Letters.
