Christ Church is a family-oriented parish with a particular emphasis on pastoral care and mission outreach. Members of the congregation live throughout the Farmington Valley including the towns of Avon, Unionville, Collinsville, Burlington, Farmington, and Simsbury. The parish was originally established in Unionville (a section of Farmington) and relocated to Avon in 1961.

Many members of Christ Church are traditional Episcopalians, and we have members from other faith traditions as well (Roman Catholic, Baptist, Lutheran, and Congregational). You are welcome to come worship with us and be as involved in parish life as you desire.

If you are searching for a new parish family, you will receive a warm, respectful welcome at Christ Church. We are a parish in transition and receive special support from the Diocese of Connecticut. As Priest-in-Charge, I was appointed by the Bishop of Connecticut to serve this congregation.

I am at the church on Wednesdays and Sundays, and am available to greet visitors and answer questions regarding parish life.
