Outreach Ministry Team

The Outreach Ministry Team functions to serve others in Christ.  Programs that fall under this team include St. James Food Bank, Cathedral Soup Kitchen, Five Talents International, Covenant to Care, and the Brightview Team. Contact chairperson, Chip Chamberlain, for more information.

What we want to do this year:

• develop inter-generational outreach opportunities with Brightview Nursing Home in Avon, CT.
• expand soup kitchen volunteering especially to include youth
• expand food pantry to the local community
• build relationships with Five Talents International
• brainstorm another mission trip to East Africa
• explore other possible mission trips
• develop the youth mission to Mexico
• increase our diocesan pledge
