Evangelism Ministry Team

The Evangelism Ministry Team, led by a Vestry Member, seeks to share the love of Jesus Christ.  This team seeks ideas and ways to bring people to Christ Church and to help current members become more involved in God's work.  Activities include mailings to new families who have just moved into the area, exploring ways to reach out to the community, and working with the Fellowship Team to incorporate new members into the life of the Parish.  This team also includes breaders (people who deliver a loaf of fresh bread to recent guests or visitors), meeters & greeters (people who welcome and help newcomers to services), and women's morning coffees (people who host a morning coffee or lunch at their home to foster people getting to know one another).  Contact chairperson, Kim Carlone, for more information.

What we want to do this year:

• widen the culture for people to make a personal invitation to get involved in the church
• increase member involvement in church activities
• continue church press releases
• maintain the road sign grabbing attention to church activities
• hold an Instructed Eucharist
• schedule "invite-a-guest" Sundays
• further develop new member incorporation
• hold ministry fair
• create welcome packets for visitors
• continue mailings, "breading" and newcomer brunches
